MCL Season 3 - Basic Rules and Regulations

Mullassery Cricket League - MCL Season 3, One day Internal league tournament will be held on January 25th, 2026.
16 teams divided into 4 pools.
Each team plays 2 League matches and a Quarter Final (8 overs on cement pitches).
Semi Finals and finals are 6 overs on grass grounds.
2 League Matches will be taken by lot during the Auction date.
Top 2 teams from each pool qualify for Quarter Finals based on points/net run rate.

Minimum 5 bowlers per team per inning.
League matches start at 7:00 AM, followed by Quarter Finals.
Semi Finals and Final start at 4:00 PM at Skyline University College Ground, Sharjah.

13 players per team, including 3 Retain Players (Captain, Vice Captain, and Icon Player).
Retain players must have played at least one match before January 15th, 2026.
The Committee won't be responsible for last-minute player replacements. Team owners must select players and check their availability.
In genuine cases like job loss or emergency travel, the Committee will review relevant documents and make decisions accordingly.

Team Registration: October 5th 2025 - October 19th 2025 (Entry Fee: 500 AED). If the Team Entry fee of 500 AED is not made within 15 days from Team registration, then the slot will be open for a new Team Franchise.
3 Retain player list with photos to be submitted before October 31st 2025.
Player Registration: October 5th 2025 - November 2nd 2025 (Registration Fee: 50 AED). Total 160 players can register on a first-come, first-served basis. If the player registration fee of 50 AED is not made within 15 days from registration, then that player needs to register again.
Auction Date: December 7th 2025 at Al Aroos Restaurant, Ajman.
